Without objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted. Senator Pearce offered Amendment No. 2 : Page 2, following line 17: Insert new material to read: WHEREAS the Alaska Telemedicine Project will not preclude other entities within the state from applying for funding for technology, but support them in their efforts to develop partnerships to secure funding and expertise in the telemedicine field; Senator Pearce moved for the adoption of Amendment No. 2. Without objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. The question being: Shall SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 6 am Relating to the Alaska Telemedicine Project, pass the Senate? The roll was taken with the following result: SCR 6 am Final Passage YEAS: 19 NAYS: 0 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Adams, Donley, Duncan, Ellis, Green, Halford, Hoffman, Kelly, Leman, Lincoln, Mackie, Miller, Pearce, Phillips, Sharp, Taylor, Torgerson, Ward, Wilken Absent: Parnell and so, SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 6 am passed the Senate and was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
